Scheduling Your Appointment

Thank you for selecting New Mexico Heart Institute for your cardiology care.

Patients are seen by appointment Monday through Friday.  Appointment times may vary depending on the location, the purpose of your visit and the availability of physicians.. Please schedule your appointment as far in advance as possible. If you have to cancel an appointment, please call your doctor’s office as soon as possible.

Every effort is made to stay on schedule, however, due to the nature of a cardiology practice, there may be unexpected emergencies.  If your cardiologist is delayed due to an emergency and you are unable to wait, you can see another one of our doctors, or if you prefer, our staff will gladly make another appointment for you.

New Mexico Heart Institute accommodates requests for specific cardiologists when possible; however, there may be times when the physician you ask to see is not available. If this happens, you may see another NMHI physician, or if you prefer, reschedule your appointment.
